Our Öland Adventure

We are called Sarah & Fredrik who have now had the honor of taking over Anna's Place in Byxelkrok.

Annas Ställe has been a hostel for nearly 25 years and at first it was not entirely obvious that we intended to continue with this once we understood that the house would be ours. But with hard work and love, we have come a good way to bring the house into the right decade and now it is a Bed & Breakfast that makes it possible for more than just us to enjoy this fantastic place.

 

In the house there are seven rooms for rent, one single room and six double rooms, two of which have two single beds. Two of the double rooms are also equipped with sofa beds. On the upper floor of the house there is a living room with TV and a lovely balcony with a view over Byxelkrok's harbour. A toilet and shower are also available on the upper floor. On the lower floor there are two more toilets and a shower. In the sparingly equipped kitchen there is the possibility for simpler preparation; there is a fridge with compartments numbered according to the rooms and a freezer available. For everyone's comfort, we have removed the possibility of frying and cooking food with strong aromas.

 

When you come to us as a guest, our beds are always freshly made with bed linen from the Lindby Tvätten. In this way, we can guarantee good quality and that all our textiles maintain a high environmental profile. The Lindby laundry is quality certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001:2015. ​

 

We - Sarah & Fredrik - live in a nearby building to Anna's place and are always at hand if there should any questions. We live here all year round together with our dog Nemo. He moves freely around the house but is not allowed to enter any of the rooms that are for rent.
